Mexican paint

'Mexican Paint' by Claire Rosslyn Wilson

Walls line up

in categorised tones,

sun flays them blind.

This post is inspired by the photo prompt vibrant and their quote from Khalil Gibran:

Let me, O’ let me bathe my soul in colours; let me swallow the sunset and drink the rainbow.

I thought immediately of some time I spent in Mexico, where even though it was winter the sun had a way of bringing out the colours. The next few days I’ll post some vibrant photos and poems from this bright place.
