Mae Sot dogs

Dog packs by Claire Rosslyn WilsonIn this town they’re a pick-‘n-mix of body parts,

a tone of unwashed grey

with short legs, quick teeth.

They chase in fits

gangs forming

to intimidate ankles on bikes

then dissolving,

calling songs through walls

collecting voices

as the minutes pass

then always falling

into silence.
