As part of the 2017 Noted Writers Festival in Canberra (Australia) I presented Memories in Place, an online space for sharing experiences of Canberra through everyday objects.

Things I havent thrown outThe event explored our relationship with objects and how they connect us to the world around us. According to Claude Levi-Strauss, material things are goods to think with, a way to reflect on our past and come up with new ideas. Through associational, lateral and unexpected angles, we track and share stories of “things” in the streets of Canberra from diverse perspectives. I facilitated online conversations in order to solicit dialogues on the creative process and the influence of place in creative writing.
